  “I went here to get a hedgehog. I had one years ago and decided it was time for another. I went to them to get one because they were close. It is small but that doesn't bother me much. Yes there is a bit of a smell in there but with that many animals and different kinds I would be surprised if there wasn't a smell, it wasn't over powering just a normal animal smell. They clearly know almost nothing about hedgehogs. They way the guy tried to get one to open up so we could check gender was by spraying water in their face, they can easily get sick from getting water in their nose. Also, they had both males and females caged together, big no no! They can start mating at 3 and 4 months of age, I'm hoping my female isn't pregnant! After 2 days of having her I was able to check her over good and she had sores under her front arms. When I called the guy he just said hmmm, I guess I should check the others. He then called me back after a few minutes and asked what bedding I had her on, and if I got it from them. I said no that I got her hypo allergenic bedding. He said thats the problem that they can only be on aspen bedding. that is bs. Aspen is at the bottom of the list for bedding for them. I don't know how they care or know about the other animals but they don't know what they are doing with hedgehogs. I've only had my hedgie for 1 1/2 weeks and poor thing has had constant issues with her skin. I don't want to bash this place, I know they have been there forever. They just need to take care of and know more about the pets they are selling. I'm just glad that I have years of hedgie experience and can take care of her properly.”
